Sametime Proxy Server ports
These ports provide mobile and web clients access to the Sametime® Community Server for presence and chat, as well as audio and video calls.

| 8880 | SOAP port used for server-to-server communication. The Sametime System Console, through the Deployment Manager, accesses the Sametime Proxy Server on this port. This port number varies, depending on how WebSphere® Application Server was installed. |
| 80 | HTTP port for browser clients |
| 443 (if configured) | HTTPS port for browser clients |
| 2195 | If your deployment supports iOS native clients (iPhone users), open this port for server-to-server communication between the Sametime Proxy Server and the Apple Push Notification Servers (APNS), to enable push notifications for incoming Sametime messages. If you deploy a firewall between the two servers, be sure to open this port on the firewall as well. |
