Sharing the SafeLinx Client connection on Windows™
You can share the SafeLinx Client connection through Internet Connection Sharing so you can connect multiple local area network computers to your intranet. You can use just one computer with a SafeLinx Client connection.
Procedure
- Click regedit. and enter
- Expand the entries to display HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{4D36E972-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002bE10318}.
- Scan the entries for ComponentId=hcl_safelinx and change the Characteristics from 09 to 01.
- Restart the operating system.
- Open the Network and Dial-Up Connections window.
- Locate the Device name entry for the SafeLinx Client Interface (the entry in the Name column might vary). Right-click and select Properties.
- Click the Sharing page, then select Enable Internet Connection Sharing for this connection, then click OK.
- Make sure the correct local network shows up in the For local network box. Now you can set up Internet connection sharing. For more information, see Windows Help.
