- Starting a connection when the operating system starts
Specific connections can be configured to start automatically when the operating system starts. Log in as root and use the properties notebook to configure the service.
- Automatically starting applications after connecting
The SafeLinx Client can be configured to start applications automatically after a connection is established. The number of applications which you can autostart is restricted to 16. In addition to specifying the application name, you can also configure any parameters with which you want the application started.
- Importing and exporting configuration files
You can export the configuration file that controls how a SafeLinx Client connects to the network and then import the file to other clients to reuse those settings.
- Using trace
Trace can be set up from the Connections window. This action allows set up of a trace either before starting a connection to the SafeLinx Server or after the connection is already active.
- Roaming between networks
In IP-based networks, the SafeLinx Client can dynamically switch the secure connection to the SafeLinx Server from one physical network adapter to another. The switch to the secure connection is completed with little or no user intervention and usually with no interruption to applications.

Various components that relate to the connection status which include status, statistics, roaming, logon status, and advanced settings are all available to be viewed within the Status window.

- Disconnecting from the SafeLinx Server
You can disconnect from an active connection with the Connection Manager.
- Changing font size and style
If the default settings are not adequate, you can change the font size and font family. When you change the fonts for the Mobility Client, it also affects any application on your system that uses the Qt application framework.
