Deploying the help content of Functional Tester in Visual Studio IDE
When you install HCL OneTest™ UI in Visual Studio IDE, the help content of Functional Tester also gets installed. You must then deploy this help content in Microsoft Help Viewer to access it from the Help menu of Visual Studio IDE.
Before you begin
You must have installed the following software:
- HCL OneTest™ UI in Visual Studio IDE. See Installing in Visual Studio IDE.
- Microsoft Help Viewer. Refer to Microsoft Help Viewer Installation.

Procedure
- Open Visual Studio.

Click
.The Help Viewer dialog is displayed.
- Select the Disk option in the installation source.

Click to select the source location of the help content.
The Open dialog is displayed.

Go to
<install_directory>\FunctionalTester\vsnet\MSDNHelp.
For example, the help content can be located in C:\Program Files\HCL\HCLOneTest\FunctionalTester\vsnet\MSDNHelp.

Select the helpcontentsetup.msha file, and then click
Open.
The the help content of Functional Tester is displayed.
- Close the Help Viewer dialog.
