Testing with the MQ telemetry transport
If you are using HCL OneTest™ API 8.6.0 or later, you can create MQ telemetry transports.
Message queuing telemetry transport (MQTT) is a publish and subscribe, lightweight messaging
protocol designed for constrained devices, and low-bandwidth, high-latency or unreliable networks
that use TCP/IP. The design of MQTT makes it suitable for machine-to-machine (M2M)
technologies and the Internet of Things (IoT) generally.
Note: IBM®
WebSphere® MQ 7.1
and later supports MQTT. For more information, see IBM®
Knowledge Center. For information about the MQTT specification, see the OASIS
website.
