The HCL OneDB JDBC Driver
All UDRs written in Java™ code can access the database server data through the HCL OneDB™ JDBC Driver application programming interface (API). This section briefly describes the HCL OneDB implementation of the OneDB JDBC Driver API and the server-side OneDB JDBC Driver.
Generally, the HCL® OneDB server-side OneDB JDBC Driver derives from the client-side driver so that the two drivers are essentially the same. Java UDRs require some differences, however, to use the OneDB JDBC Driver from the server side. This section describes the public OneDB JDBC Driver interfaces and OneDB JDBC Driver subprotocols that the OneDB JDBC Driver provides specifically for server-side OneDB JDBC Driver applications, and restrictions that apply to server-side OneDB JDBC Driver applications. For principal documentation of the HCL OneDB JDBC Driver, see the HCL OneDB JDBC Driver Programmer's Guide.
