The hosts file is in the following location.


Operating System	File
UNIX™	/etc/hosts
Windows™	%WINDIR%\system32\drivers\etc\hosts

Important: Leave a blank line at the end of the hosts file on Windows.

For example, your hosts file might look like the following:

192.168.0.1 ny.usa.com
192.168.0.2 tokyo.japan.com
192.168.0.3 rome.italy.com
192.168.0.4 perth.australia.com
