The Sliding Century setting specifies the rirst year in a 100-year range, used to derive a missing century for a date item, using CCYY format.

For example, if the value of the Sliding Century setting is 1960, a YYMMDD formatted date between 1960 and 1999 is interpreted as having a century date of 19, while dates between 2000 and 2059 are interpreted as having a century date of 20. In this case, the following are true:
  • 600101 is assigned a century of 19
  • 580101 is assigned a century of 20
