These machine notes provide platform-specific information about this release.
For all other information about this release, see the release notes included in this product.
II. OPERATING SYSTEM VERSIONS
This version of the Enterprise Gateway Manager has been built and tested on Red Hat Enterprise
Linux (RHEL) release 7.4 (Maipo) using gcc version 4.8.5.
III. ODBC CONFIGURATION
UnixODBC driver manager (2.3.x or later) is required for Enterprise Gateway Manager to connect to ODBC data sources.
Following drivers have been certified with Enterprise Gateway Manager:
Oracle, v12.2.0.1.0 (libsqora.so.12.1)
FreeTDS SQL Server, v1.4.12 (libtdsodbc.so)
Generic ODBC configuration

Environment Variable "LD_LIBRARY_PATH"
-------------------------------------
The library search path environment variable LD_LIBRARY_PATH must be set
to any other desired library search path value that are needed to be passed to the ODBC drivers.
Update $INFORMIXDIR/egmenv.csh (C Shell) or
$INFORMIXDIR/egmenv.sh (Korn or Bourne Shell) and source the file.
