System Data Model

Installing Aerospike

This section provides a step-by-step guide to installing Aerospike on a native VM.

Procedure

Download the latest tarball of the Aerospike server and unpack it.
Install the Aerospike package.
Update the service in the user.conf file.
Update the instance store drive rules and clean up the drive.
Update the cluster host, port details, and storage in the configuration file.

Note:
If the nvme3n1 disk is available, add the path of the actual mounted disk, such as /data.
Update the license details in the features.conf file.
Perform the following commands to update the configuration.

Results

After completing the installation steps, configure the Node Exporter and Aerospike Exporter for monitoring.
