Disabling database replication
You can disable replication of a database -- for example, to stop replication while you troubleshoot problems. Then, after you correct the problem, enable replication again. You can disable and enable replication of a single database, or if you use the Domino® Administrator, you can disable and enable replication of multiple databases at once.
To disable replication of one database
Procedure
- Open the database and choose .
- Select Other.
- Select Temporarily disable replication for this replica and then click OK.
What to do next
To enable replication again, repeat Steps 1 and 2, and in Step 3 deselect Temporarily disable replication for this replica.
To disable replication of multiple databases
Procedure
- From the Domino® Administrator server pane select the server that stores the databases. To expand the server pane, click the servers icon in the server pane.
- Click the Files tab.
- Select the databases for which you want to disable replication.
- From Tools, click , or drag the selected databases to the Replication tool.
- Select Disable.
- Optional: To clear the replication history, click Clear replication history.
- Click OK.
What to do next
To enable replication again, repeat Steps 1 - 4, and in Step 5 select Enable replication.
