Reporting DDM operating system probe events to Tivoli Enterprise Console®
You can have the operating system probe events reported to the Tivoli Enterprise Console® (TEC) in addition to the DDM.NSF database. To do so, set the TEC information in the Domino® Server Configuration document and then install the operating system probe definitions on the TEC server.
About this task
When you install Domino®, text files that have a .baroc file name extension are installed in the rmeval subdirectory of the Domino® data directory.

Setting TEC information
About this task
In this procedure you enter the TEC server IP address and port number. Obtain that information from the TEC server administrator.
Procedure
- From the Domino® Administrator, click Configuration.
- Choose ServerConfigurations.
- Select the Server Configuration document you are modifying and click Edit Configuration.
- On the Basics tab in the Tivoli Enterprise Console Settings section, click Enable logging to Tivoli Enterprise Console.
- Enter the IP Address of the TEC server.
- Enter the port number to listen to. The default is 5529.
- Click Save and Close.
Installing the DDM OS probe definitions on the TEC server
About this task
Install the DDM OS probe definitions as follows.
Procedure
- Locate the text files that have the .baroc extension.
- Copy the files and send them to the TEC administrator who will copy the files to the TEC server. They can then be installed and loaded on that server.
