Backup logs
When the Backup task runs, it generates backup logs, which can be seen in the Logs view of the Backup database.
There are logs about backed-up databases, sorted by date or by database name. These contain summary details about the backup, for example the start and end times, the runtime, and number of databases processed, errors found, and so forth. By default, a log file with more detail is attached to each document, as controlled by backup configuration. The log can also be stored on disk or not stored at all.
There are also Domino transaction log file (TXN) backups, which are enabled by running the Backup task with the -t argument. Transaction logs are required for point-in-time recovery or to roll forward the content of a database.
