Controlling server access by browser clients that use Java and JavaScript
These settings are for use only with IBM® Lotus® Domino® 5.x and earlier servers. They should not be used with a Domino 6 or later server and are included for the purpose of backwards compatibility only, to be used to manage prior releases of Domino servers with the current IBM Notes® client.
Procedure
- From the Domino Administrator, click Configuration, and open the Server document.
- Click the Security tab.
- In the Programmability Restrictions section,
complete one or both of these fields, and then save the document:
- Run restricted Java/JavaScript/COM -
Enter the names of authenticated browser users and/or groups allowed
to run server programs created with a specific set of Java™ and JavaScript™ features.
Leave the field blank (default) to deny access to all users and groups.
- Run unrestricted Java/JavaScript/COM - Enter the names of authenticated browser users and/or groups allowed to run server programs created with all Java and JavaScript features. Leave the field blank (default) to deny access to all users and groups.
- Run restricted Java/JavaScript/COM -
Enter the names of authenticated browser users and/or groups allowed
to run server programs created with a specific set of Java™ and JavaScript™ features.
