The third field after the equals sign controls the OpenView severity (see section Trap Definition Entry in the OpenView Programmer's Guide):

4 - Unknown

11 - Unmanaged

2 - Informational

9 - Disabled

3 - Normal

10 - Marginal

1 - Warning

8 - Minor

7 - Major

0 - Critical
