- JavaScript™ language elements (JavaScript™)
  The JavaScript™ language elements are based on the ECMAScript Language Specification Standard ECMA-262 (see http://www.ecma-international.org/publications/standards/Ecma-262.htm). The JavaScript described here applies to the server-side interpreter. Client-side scripts are interpreted by the browser.

  A simple action performs a pre-programmed activity that can be modified by arguments.

  Global objects provide entry points to server-side scripts. Entering the name of a global object instantiates it.

    Represents a user entry in the server directory.
  - NotesXspDocument (JavaScript™)
    Represents a document associated with the XPage context in which the server script is running.
  - NotesXspViewEntry (JavaScript™)
    Represents the view entry associated with the XPage context in which the server script is running. A view entry describes a row in a view.
    - getChildCount (NotesXspViewEntry - JavaScript™)
      Read-only. The number of immediate children belonging to the current view entry.
    - getColumnIndentLevel (NotesXspViewEntry - JavaScript™)
      Read-only. The indent level of a view entry within its column.
    - getColumnValue (NotesXspViewEntry - JavaScript™)
      Gets the value of a column in the view entry.
    - getColumnValues (NotesXspViewEntry - JavaScript™)
      Gets the value of each column in the view entry.
    - getDescendantCount (NotesXspViewEntry - JavaScript™)
      Read-only. The number of descendants belonging to the current view entry.
    - getDocument (NotesXspViewEntry - JavaScript™)
      Gets the document associated with the view entry.
    - getFTSearchScore (NotesXspViewEntry - JavaScript™)
      Gets the full-text search score of a view entry retrieved as part of a full-text search.

      Gets the indent level of a view entry within the view.

      Gets the value of each column in the view entry.

      Gets the note ID of a view entry of type document.

      Read-only. The parent ViewEntryCollection, ViewNavigator, or View object of a view entry.

      Gets the position of the entry in the view hierarchy, for example, "2.3" for the third document of the second category.
    - getRead (NotesXspViewEntry - JavaScript™)
      Checks if the document is read.
    - getSiblingCount (NotesXspViewEntry - JavaScript™)
      Read-only. The number of siblings belonging to the current view entry.
    - getUniversalID (NotesXspViewEntry - JavaScript™)
      Gets the universal ID of a document associated with a view entry. The ID is a 32-character combination of hexadecimal digits (0-9, A-F) that uniquely identifies a document across all replicas of a database.
    - isCategory (NotesXspViewEntry - JavaScript™)
      Indicates whether a view entry is a category.
    - IsConflict (NotesXspViewEntry - JavaScript™)
      Indicates whether a view entry is for a document on which a replication or save conflict occurred.
    - isDocument (NotesXspViewEntry - JavaScript™)
      Indicates whether a view entry is a document.
    - isExpanded setExpanded (NotesXspViewEntry - JavaScript™)
      Indicates whether child entries are expanded.
    - isPreferJavaDates setPreferJavaDates (NotesXspViewEntry - JavaScript™)
      Indicates whether Java™ dates are preferred.
    - isSelected setSelected (NotesXspViewEntry - JavaScript™)
      Indicates whether entries are selected.
    - isTotal (NotesXspViewEntry - JavaScript™)
      Indicates whether a view entry is a total.
    - isValid (NotesXspViewEntry - JavaScript™)
      Indicates whether a view entry is a valid entry and not a deletion stub.
    - toggleExpanded (NotesXspViewEntry - JavaScript™)
      Expands or collapses child entries to the opposite state.

      Gets a string representation of the view entry.

    Represents the context in which the server script is running.

getOpenPageURL (NotesXspViewEntry - JavaScript™)

Gets a URL to open a page in the current context.

getOpenPageURL(pageName:string, readOnly:boolean) : string


Parameter	Description
`pageName:string`	The name of the page. If null, defaults to the name of the current page.
`readOnly:boolean`	`true` to open the page read-only; `false` otherwise.


Return value	Description
`string`	The URL.

Examples

This onclick script for a Button control is embedded in a Data Table control with a Domino® view data source whose collection name is rowdata. The script opens a document in read mode.
