getNext (ViewNavigator - Java™)

Returns the next entry following the current or specified entry in a view navigator.

Syntax

public ViewEntry getNext()

public ViewEntry getNext(ViewEntry entry)
    throws NotesException

Parameters

ViewEntry entry

An entry in the view. Cannot be null.

Return value

ViewEntry

The entry following the current or specified entry. Returns null if there is no next entry.

Usage

This method moves the current pointer to the retrieved entry unless the return value is null.

In loops you should recycle the ViewEntry object on each iteration. Use a temporary object to save and restore the object.
