Displaying embedded outlines in Web applications
About this task
When you are designing a Web application, the following options define how an embedded outline displays in a browser:
- "Using HTML" renders the outline as HTML and is the default behavior.
- "Using Java™ Applet" renders the outline as an applet. This allows browser users to see mouse-over distinctions for items in the outline, including change of color to indicate a selected item, and see background images.
To specify how to display an embedded outline
Procedure
- Embed an outline in a page or form, or select an existing embedded outline.
- Choose Element - Outline Properties.
- On the Info tab, for "Web Access" select "Using HTML," or "Using Java™ Applet."
