Installing DevOps Velocity
To get started with HCL DevOps Velocity (Velocity), you must install it on any one of the container platforms. You can find information about the selection of a container platform, installation methods, and procedure for installing Velocity.
Installing on Docker Compose
You can install HCL DevOps Velocity (Velocity) version 5.1.0 and 5.1.1 on Docker Compose, which is a platform for non-production instances. Only the versions 5.1.0 and 5.1.1 are supported for installation on Docker Compose.

Installing on Docker Compose

You can install HCL DevOps Velocity (Velocity) version 5.1.0 and 5.1.1 on Docker Compose, which is a platform for non-production instances. Only the versions 5.1.0 and 5.1.1 are supported for installation on Docker Compose.

You can install Velocity version 5.1.0 and 5.1.1 on Docker Compose by using any one of the following methods:

You can install Velocity in the online mode when you have access to internet for the installation. See Installing on Docker Compose by using online method.
You can install Velocity in the offline mode when you do not have access to internet for the installation. However, you require internet connection to download the files on the host system where you install Velocity. See Installing on Docker Compose by using offline method.
