Deleting a test asset
You can delete an application, test, suite, or smartshot when it is no longer required in your project. If the test asset that is selected for deletion is referenced in another test or a test suite, or if the selected smartshot is referenced in a test, a warning is displayed.
Before you begin
You must have completed the following tasks:
- Ensured that you are assigned a role as a Project Owner or Tester in the project. See Managing access to the server projects.
- Ensured that your project contains test assets.
- Read and understood the information in Edit branch overview and Create or select an Edit branch.
Procedure

Log in to Test Hub.
The Projects page of the initial team space is displayed.

Click to open the project that contains the test assets.
The Overview page of the project is displayed.

Click .
The Test Editor page and the test navigator panel are displayed.
- Select a test or a smarshot that you want to delete from the test navigator panel.

Click the
button, displayed on the Test
Editor page.
The Edit button appears only when no active edit branch is selected.
The Edit branch dialog is displayed.If the Edit branch dialog is not displayed, then go to step 7. - Select an existing branch or create a new branch.

Click the Delete icon

Alternatively, right-click a test, suite, smarshot, or an application in the test navigator panel, and then click Delete.The Delete Asset dialog is displayed. This dialog provides information if the selected asset is referenced by the other test asset. - Click the Delete button to delete the test asset.
