Test Editor page

The Test Editor page consists of two sections: a left pane and a right pane. You can use the left pane to view, edit, and organize the test. You can use the right pane to manage and analyze the test within the project.

You can use the following options in the left pane of the Test Editor page:
Options Actions
View

In the default setup, the test is displayed in the Visual view. To view the test in Code view, you must click the Code option.

Find Step Enter the name of the test in the Find Step to search the test assets in the current test.
Try Now try now icon

Select the Try Nowtry now icon icon to begin the test run.

Undo icon_undo

Select the Undo icon_undo icon to undo the recent changes.

Redoicon_redo

Select the Redo icon_redo icon to redo the recent changes.

Save Image of the save icon. Select the Save Image of the save icon. icon to save all the changes made to the test.
Publish Select the Publish icon to publish the test.

You can use the following tabs in the right pane of the Test Editor page:

Catalog

Select the Catalog tab to add additional steps to the tests. See Adding user actions in a test from smartshots, Adding test steps from the General catalog, and Adding UI-related actions and user actions in a test from the UI catalog.

Results Select the Results tab to view the test results. See Running a Web UI test.
Usage

Select the Usage tab to see where the current test is referenced in other tests. You can click the image of an icon icon to open the referenced tests. If there are no references to the current test, then the tab displays that the current test has no dependants.

Details Select the Details tab to view the Git details such as Asset ID, Repo, Path, Branch, and Commit.
