The test authoring feature provides you to author or edit test assets in HCL OneTest™ Server. Depending on the platform you used to install the server software, the default status of the feature can be enabled or disabled.
The default status of the test authoring feature is disabled when you install the server software on Ubuntu (by using k3s). However, the test authoring feature is enabled when you install the server software on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
After you install the server software, you can enable or disable the test authoring feature based on your requirements.
