DevOps Control MCP server

The DevOps Control Model Context Protocol (MCP) server connects your DevOps Control with AI-powered development environments and agents. By implementing MCP, this server enables large language models (LLMs), such as those running in Visual Studio Code (VS Code) or Cursor, to manage the DevOps Control environment directly from VS Code. This setup uses GitHub Copilot as the MCP client to interact with your DevOps Control application through natural language prompts. Secure communication is enabled through APIs and MCP tools. This integration streamlines developer workflows.

Agent client-server model

The system operates on an MCP client-server model. You can connect client tools, such as GitHub Copilot, to the server using API tokens, allowing you to perform operations based on your user ID privileges.

Note: Before proceeding, confirm with your DevOps Control administrator that the MCP server is enabled in the platform.
