New teamspaces created within DevOps Plan uses Unicode as the database codepage. However, imported connections adheres to the database codepage configuration of its original setup. If you add additional record types after adding a package, you can enable the package functionality for those record types using the Designer.

The integration between Aha! and DevOps Plan is designed to streamline the management of the records. The bidirectional synchronization ensures that the items (defined in the mapping configuration) created in Aha! are automatically reflected in DevOps Plan and vice versa, enhancing visibility and coordination across platforms.

      Some packages enable existing record types in a schema. When you install these packages, you can select the record types to enable for the package. If you add a new record type after adding the package, you can use the Designer to enable the new record type with the package functionality.

      You might need to upgrade your integration packages when there are changes in DevOps Plan or the integration packages.
    - Testing integrations
      To avoid problems with your database, you should add integration packages in a test environment before modifying your production environment.

Adding a SCM integration package

As an administrator, you can add a software configuration management (SCM) application that provides tracking and controlling changes in the software.

The SCM Integration package provides a loose integration between DevOps Plan and SCM applications such as GitHub, GitLab, and Control. SCM users will record their SCM event actions, such as: Activities, Pull Requests, Commits, and other activities, on corresponding DevOps Plan records.

SCM users do not need to login into DevOps Plan to make those updates.

Events recorded in DevOps Plan records will contain data describing the event and a link to the complete event data originating from the SCM application. A DevOps Plan user can view a summary of each event, or the whole summary, all from within the DevOps Plan application.

A DevOps Plan record can have multiple events sorted on event date to give the reader a complete picture of all the SCM events associated with the record.
