Creating a custom Gantt chart

Procedure

To create a custom Gantt chart:
  1. Create a personal or public query.
    Note: You must select the correct record type, which is applicable for the schema, while you create a query. Otherwise, the Customize icon is not displayed for that query.
    Note: To ensure that your queries are displayed correctly on the storyboard, you must assign a unique name to each query. If query names are identical in the storyboard, Gantt chart, and timeline, the storyboard cannot display all three custom boards simultaneously.
  2. Select the query you created. The Customize icon is displayed if the query is eligible for customization.
  3. Click the Customize icon and select Create Custom Gantt Chart from the list.
  4. If you did not complete the mandatory fields while creating a query, the Action Required dialog box opens so you can modify the query. Click Allow.
  5. On the Creating Custom Gantt Chart page, click Create. This action creates the Gantt chart icon next to the selected query name.
