The supported software requirements to run the Deploy components are as follows:

Note: z/OS packages are not supported for any Java distribution starting with version 25 and all subsequent fix packs.
Important: You must choose a Java version above the minimum supported version for your Deploy installation. This ensures maximum flexibility for future software upgrades, letting you update Deploy and Java in separate steps rather than simultaneously. For instance, Deploy 8.2.x supports Java 17 (minimum), 21, and 25, installing Java 21 prevents a mandatory concurrent Java upgrade when moving to the next major Deploy release.
