- Backup and recover
  You can back up and recover the contents of your HCL DevOps Deploy (Deploy) installation.
- High availability and failover
  You can configure clustered HCL DevOps Deploy (Deploy) servers, and agents for high availability. You can also configure agents and agent relays for failover.
- Setting up high-availability clusters
  To configure a high-availability cluster, you store shared files on network storage. Then, you configure multiple servers, set each server to access the same files and database, and configure a load balancer to distribute the traffic between the servers.

  You can add cold standby servers to serve as a backup server or for disaster recovery. You must start the secondary server or servers when the active server fails, and network traffic is routed to the secondary servers.

Setting the user preferences

You can set the preferences such as language for the server, and how dates and times are shown on the server.

Procedure

At the upper-right corner of the server window, click your user name, and then click My Profile > Preferences.
Choose a language for the user interface in the Locale field.
Select a format for dates in the user interface in the Date Format field.
Select a format for times in the Time Format field.
Specify the calendar type you want to use for the server in the Calendar field.
Specify which teams to assign for new objects in the Default Teams for New Objects list.
By default, System Default Policy is selected and uses the Default Teams for New Objects settings defined in the system settings.
- All Available Teams to add new objects to all of the teams that you are a member of.
- Specific Teams to specify specific teams, and then select one or more teams.
- None to specify that no new objects are added to your teams.
Click Save.
