To access the files in your dynamic and snapshot views, the VOBs in which the files reside must be mounted on your system. A VOB, or Versioned Object Base, is the DevOps Code ClearCase term for a data repository, or database. In DevOps Code ClearCase, all files and directories are stored in VOBs.
