Sharing an HCL Connections File in Slack

Add a link to a Slack Channel or direct message from HCL Connections Files to share with others.

Procedure

To browse for a file to share, perform the following:
1. From a Slack channel or direct message enter the following slash command /share files.
Click Launch in order to open the Connections File Picker.
Login to HCL Connections and authorize your connection (OAuth).

Note: The file picker includes navigation and search controls, a list of files, share and cancel controls.
Use the navigator My Files, My Drive, Pinned Files and search fields to locate the file to share.
Click a file to select the file to share.
Click Share to share the file link in the current Slack channel or direct message.
