Printing a record or result set

In the Query Results view, you can print an entire result set or selected records by using the print icon on the view toolbar. Similarly, in the Record Details view, you can print the displayed record by using the print icon on the toolbar.

Procedure

To print an entire result set or selected records from the Query Results view:
  1. Click anywhere in the view to make it the active view.
  2. Optional: If you only want to print some of the result set records, select these.
  3. Click the print icon on the view toolbar.
  4. If you selected one or more records, the Print Query Results window opens, with the All records option selected by default. If you only want to print selected records or all records on the page, select the corresponding option.
  5. Click OK.

Example

On the UNIX™ system, the print action formats the grid as HTML and opens a Web browser. Use the print capabilities of the browser to print the query results grid.
