Finding text in hook scripts

You can search for specific script text in your hooks. The search includes all hooks in the schema; you do not have to specify a particular hook.

Before you begin

If you have a form open, close it before you search for the text.

Procedure

To find text in hook scripts:
  1. Start the Designer.
  2. In the Schema Repository Explorer view, right click on the schema version whose hooks you want to search and click Find In Hooks.
  3. In the Find In Hooks window:
    1. In the Find in hooks field, type the text string to search for.
    2. Select Case Sensitive to search for the text string exactly as you typed it (case-sensitive).
    3. Click Choose to select a schema version other than the current selected version.
    4. Click OK to perform the search.
The Search view displays the search results.
  4. In the Search view, double-click the specific entry to view or edit. This opens an editor window, with the specific script and text displayed.
