You can delete field hooks to change the behavior of fields.
Procedure
To
delete a field hook:
- Start the Designer.

In the Schema Repository Explorer view, expand the Record Types folder
in your schema and then double-click on a record type.
The record type editor opens.
- Click the Fields tab to view the
Records Field grid.
- In the Record Fields grid, click the cell that contains
the hook you want to delete and select NONE.
(If the field type is REFERENCE or REFERENCE_LIST and the hook is
a choice-list hook, select DEFAULT.)
- Click OK to confirm the deletion.
Results
After you delete a hook and check in the schema, you cannot
restore the deleted hook. If the hook was stored in a previous version
of the schema, you can open that version and copy the hook into any
schema.
