ROPassword
Description
Sets or returns the password for users who have read-only access to the schema repository (master database).
Note: You must
have SuperUser privileges for this method to return the password, or an exception
is thrown.
This property is used only in conjunction with databases whose Vendor property is set to SQL_SERVER.
Note: This setting can be different from
DBOPassword in
SQL Server 6.5 installations. For newer installations, it is the same as DBOPassword.The read-only login name and password are for users who need to view the information in the database but who are not allowed to modify the contents of the database.
Note: Setting
a new value does not take effect until the ApplyPropertyChanges method is
called.
