To log on to HCL Compass Web:

Procedure

  1. Enter the following URL in a Web browser window:

    http://CQWebServerHost/cqweb

    where CQWebServerHost is the Web address of your HCL Compass Web server host, which you can obtain from your administrator.

  2. In the Connect to HCL Compass dialog box, enter your HCL Compass Web client user ID and password in the User ID and Password fields, respectively.
  3. Select a schema repository from the Repository list.
    If you have more than one database subscription, you are prompted to select a database from the Database list.

    If your user session times out, you can re-authenticate and then continue where you left off. The user interface state is preserved.
