Dependent integrations

Dependent integrations require adding packages to your schema in a specific order. Additional HCL Compass configuration might be required as well. The installation process is different for each dependent integration.

Dependent integrations supported by HCL Compass include:

Important: Plan carefully before adding packages to your schema because you cannot remove a package after adding it. Instead, you must delete all schema versions in which the package exists. You can delete schema versions only if you have not applied these to a user database.

You must have Super User or Schema Designer privileges to add packages.

It is a best practice to add an integration to a test database to familiarize yourself with its features. After, you can add the integration to your production database. See Testing integrations.
