Changing form page (tab) names

You can change the name of a page (tab) on a form and include an access key so that users can display the page by pressing the corresponding key on the keyboard. Access keys are underlined in the page name that appears on the page.

Procedure

To change the name of a page:
  1. Start the Designer.
  2. In the Schema Repository Explorer view, expand the Record Types folder and then expand the node of the record type whose page name you want to change.
  3. Expand the Forms folder and then expand the folder for the form you want to update.
  4. Expand the Tab Folder folder to view the existing tabs on the form.
  5. Right-click on the tab whose name you want to change and then click Rename.
  6. Enter a new name for the tab. To specify an access key for the page, type an ampersand (&) before any letter in the page name.

Results

Users can display the page by pressing the access key. For example, to specify the letter T as the access key for a page named Attachments, type A&ttachments
