Changing state names
You can change the name of a state in a state model, and the name is updated in any actions that refer to it.
About this task
If a hook refers to the name of a state, you must change the state name in the hook code. For information about naming restrictions, see Naming restrictions.
Procedure
To rename a state:
- Start the Designer.
- In the Schema Repository Explorer view, expand the Record Types folder and then expand the node of the record type whose state name you want to change.
- Expand the States folder.
- Right-click the state name and then click Rename.
- Enter a new name for the state.
