Consumer direct (single store): Creating and assigning initial price rules
Using Commerce Lab, you must create a price rule that sets prices for the catalog entries your store sells. Using Commerce+ Accelerator, you must assign your price rule to the default contract for your consumer direct store. As a result, customers shopping on the store see prices set by the price rule you assign.

Step 1: Create a price rule for the store default contract
This price rule can be simple and just get a price from a price list. Alternatively, the price rule can perform calculations, and use other price rule features such as conditions and nested price rules.
Procedure
Create a price rule using the following tasks as reference:
Step 2. Assign the price rule to the default store contract
Using Commerce+ Accelerator, you can access a Price Rule tab in which you can select the price rule to use for your store.
Procedure
- Open Commerce Lab Tools.
- From the left navigation menu, click .
- From the store filter, select the store for which you wish to assign a price rule.

You can assign the price rule while creating a new contract.
- Click New.
- Go to Catalog filter and price rule to assign the price rule for the selected store contract.

To assign the price rule to an existing contract:

Click the
Edit icon given in the same row of the contract name.
- On the edit page, go to Catalog filter and price rule to add or update the price rule for the selected store contract.

Step 3. Test your results
Procedure
Log on to the store and check that the prices you see are valid according to the price rule you
assigned.
