Creating a catalog filter to use in a price rule Catalog Condition element

If your price rule sets prices differently for various parts of your catalog, you can create a catalog filter to define sets of catalog entries to price the same way. For example, you can create a catalog filter containing specific categories and catalog entries. You can use the attributes and properties of catalog entries in catalog filters. To use the catalog filter in a price rule, you must specify the catalog filter in a Catalog Condition element.
