WebSphere Commerce REST services are JAX-RS REST services that are built on top of Apache Wink. The implementation classes contain JAX-RS annotations such as @Path, @Produces, @Consumes, @QueryParam, and @PathParam.
Swagger UI
A live version of the WebSphere Commerce REST API is available in a web browser on your WebSphere Commerce test server using the Swagger UI. It is composed of a set of static HTML, CSS, and JavaScript that dynamically documents the available REST API on the WebSphere Commerce test server.
Disabling the Swagger UI
The Swagger UI relies on the WebShere Commerce REST Discovery API for functionality. This API is enabled by default on both developer and runtime environments. You can disable the Swagger UI by disabling the WebShere Commerce REST Discovery API.

Procedure

When you install JR53438.fep, the Discovery API is disabled. No additional file changes are required to disable the API. You can, however, disable the Discovery API without installing JR53438.fep.
The availability of the REST Discovery API is controlled by the ApiDiscoveryEnabled property. You can enable or disable this property within the wc-component.xml file for the foundation component.
