Configuring Linux environment
Things to consider when configuring a Linux environment.
In Linux operating systems, when planning your environment, you must carefully set the upper limit value for the number of open files related to different components to avoid performance worsening or system failures.
The components to consider are, but not limited to, the following:
- number of concurrent file descriptors
- number of clients connected to each relay
- number of subscribed sites impacting the number of downloads
- number of relays
- number of connections to the system for read/write actions
