Installing MDM plugins for Windows

To deploy the Windows MDM plugin on the PlugIn Portal, run the Fixlet Install BigFix PlugIn for Windows MDM and complete the following steps.

Prerequisites

The targeted server host must have the BigFix Client running and the PlugIn Portal installed.

Procedure

  1. In the MDM Server Address field, enter the MDM Server hostname or IP address.
  2. Upload these files:
    1. For Certificate Authority, click Add File and navigate and select ca.cert.pem file.
    2. For Client Certificate, click Add File and navigate and select client.cert.pem file.
    3. For Client Key, click Add File and navigate and select client.key file.

  3. Deploy the Fixlet to the targeted systems.

      • Binaries - /opt/BESPluginPortal/Plugins
      • Data files - /var/opt/BESPluginPortal
