Uploading scan results to AppScan Enterprise

You can upload AppScan Standard results to AppScan Enterprise, to work with them there.

Procedure

  1. Open the scan that includes the results you want to upload.
    Note: Password protected files cannot be opened in AppScan Enterprise. So, to export an encrypted file you must first remove the encryption by clicking File > Set/Remove password, entering the password, and clicking OK.
  2. Click AppScan Connect > AppScan Enterprise > Upload scan results to AppScan Enterprise.
    The Connect to AppScan Enterprise dialog-box opens if not connected already. If connected, skip to step 4.
  3. Configure your AppScan Enterprise connection information:
    To connect with a User ID and Password:
    1. Select Connect with User ID & Password.
    2. In the URL field, enter the AppScan Enterprise server's service URL.

      Format: https://[AppScan Enterprise Server]:[Server port]/ase

    3. Enter a valid User ID (with the format [domain name]\[username]) and Password.
    4. Click Connect.
    To connect using a client-side certificate or smart card:
    1. Select Connect using client-side certificate / Smart Card.
    2. In the URL field, enter the AppScan Enterprise server's service URL.

      Format: https://[AppScan Enterprise Server]:[Server port]/ase

    3. From the Certificate drop-down, select a certificate.
    4. Click Connect.
      Note: If you need to connect using a Smart Card PIN code, a dialog box will open where you can enter the code.
  4. In the Upload results to AppScan Enterprise dialog box:
    1. Define a job name.
    1. Select the application with which you want to associate the scan results. Alternatively, you can search for the application and then select it.
  5. Click Upload.

    When the upload is complete you can view the scan results in AppScan Enterprise and work with it there. However, it is not possible to run the scan directly in AppScan Enterprise.
