This section describes ways AppScan Standard can interact with HCL AppScan on Cloud, to scan apps on the cloud.
Uploading scan results to AppScan on Cloud
You can upload AppScan Standard scan results to AppScan on Cloud (ASoC), add them to an application, and view the results there. The results will be aggregated with the rest of the application results, in ASoC. However, you cannot run the scan in ASoC.

Issues view provides access to the results of a scan. You can view results at a high level or select specific tests or objects and access more details. These details include how to fix, requests/responses, and differences between the test variants that resulted in issues. You can manipulate the severity of issues, resend tests (with or without modifications), and create reports based on Issues.

This section describes how to generate reports from the scan results.

Uploading scan results to AppScan on Cloud

You can upload AppScan Standard scan results to AppScan on Cloud (ASoC), add them to an application, and view the results there. The results will be aggregated with the rest of the application results, in ASoC. However, you cannot run the scan in ASoC.

Procedure

Open the scan you want to upload.

Note: Password protected files cannot be opened in ASoC, so to export an encrypted file you must first remove the encryption by clicking File > Set/Remove password, entering the password, and clicking OK.
Click AppScan Connect > AppScan on Cloud, and log in with your Key ID and Key Secret.
Click AppScan Connect > Upload scan results to AppScan on Cloud
From the Application name drop-down, select one of the existing applications in ASoC.
Optionally rename the scan.
Click Upload.
The results are aggregated with the rest of the application results, in ASoC. Note, however, that you cannot run the scan in ASoC.
