This topic describes, by platform, how to run a custom
or silent installation from a command line.
Before you begin
When launching the wizard that allows you to create a custom
installation (see Launching the Installation Configuration Wizard),
you create an OUNCE_CONFIG_FILE
environment variable.
Before running the custom installation, ensure that this environment
variable is removed.
Procedure
- On Windows™ systems,
issue this command:
AppScanSrc_Installer.exe -f <configuration_properties_file>
Where <configuration_properties_file>
is
the full path and file name of the properties file that is created
when you complete
the Custom Installation Configuration Wizard (for example, c:\install.properties).
-
On Linux™ systems, launch the wizard with
-f
<configuration_properties_file>
, where
<configuration_properties_file>
is the full path and file name of the properties
file that is created when you complete the Custom
Installation Configuration Wizard (for example,
/usr/local/share/my_configs/install.properties).
- On macOS systems, issue this command:
sudo ./setup.bin -f <configuration_properties_file>
Where <configuration_properties_file>
is
the full path and file name of the properties file that is created
when you complete
the Custom Installation Configuration Wizard (for example, /Users/myname/install.properties).
