Assigning users in PingFederate to access AppScan Enterprise
You must add user account who are authorized to access the AppScan Enterprise using Single Sign-On authentication through PingFederate.
Before you begin
- You must have Administrator privilege to add and assign users to the AppScan Enterprise application.
- You must have integrated AppScan Enterprise application with PingFederate as Identity Provider. For more information on PingFederate configuration, see Configuring PingFederate for SAML-SSO in AppScan Enterprise.

Procedure

Login to the PingFederate account as an administrator.
The PingFederate Dashboard page is displayed.

Click the CONNECTIONS menu.
The Connections page is displayed.

Click the Applications under Connections menu on
the right pane.
The AppScan Enterprise application you have configured is displayed in the Applications section under Connections page.

Click AppScan Enterprise application profile page.
The AppScan Enterprise application profile page is displayed.
- Click the Attribute Mappings tab to view the Attribute Mapping page.
- Click ADD ATTIRBUTE.

Choose PINGONE USER ATTRIBUTE to add and provide access to a user for
accessing AppScan Enterprise using SSO login method.
The new attribute row is added and displayed.

Select Username from the PINGONE USER ATTRIBUTE
list.
Note: The username assigning in PingFederate to access AppScan Enterprise using SSO login must be identical to the AppScan Enterprise login ID username.
- Click Save.
- Restart the HCL Application Enterprise Server Service.
