Pages Collecting PII report
This report lists all the pages on your site that are collecting Personally Identifiable Information (PII).
Why it matters
The collection of PII is a key component of online privacy management. Personally identifiable information is any information that can uniquely identify an individual user; for example, name, postal address, email address, telephone number, or Social Security Number. User preferences tracked by a website through a cookie are also considered personally identifiable when linked to other PII provided online by the user. In the offline world, organizations had a significant degree of control over the type and amount of personal information collected. With the decentralized nature of website content creation, the ability to exert control over data collection practices is often eroded. When you know what pages contain these forms, you can take steps to ensure they have a privacy statement link and the appropriate level of security measures. How PII is triggered
