Managing issues in a report
All issues are classified as open by default. You can see an issue classification by grouping by Issue Status.
Before you begin
Learn more about managing issues:
- You are managing issues, not the page they appear on or a group of issues. For example, if you fix five broken links on a page and mark them as fixed, and the next time your site is scanned a new broken link appears on the same page, that page will be listed in the Broken Links report when you group the results by the Page data set. You managed the issues on that page, not the page itself. In another example, if you fix five security issues on a given Test URL and mark them as fixed, and the next time your site is scanned a new security issue appears on the same URL, that URL will appear in the security issues report when you group the results by the Test URL data set. You managed the issues on the URL, not the URL itself.
- If an issue appears in more than one report pack, the issue classification you assign it will affect every report pack the issue is in, and any dashboard the report pack is in.
- You cannot manage an issue that is being retested. You can either cancel the retest, or wait for the retest to complete before managing the issue.
- Only users who have an Issue Manager role or higher in a folder can classify issues. You cannot manage issues in compliance reports.
