Options dialog

The Options dialog is used to select the interface language, and control how the client operates during a scan.

General:
Select Language If ADAC can work on your workstation in more than one language, you can select the interface language here. After changing this setting you may be asked to close and reopen ADAC for the change to take effect.

Recording and Viewing Browser:

Use External Browser
AppScan scans using its own internal browser by default. You can select an external browser to be used instead. Supported external browsers (if installed) are Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge.
Tip: If you are using MS Windows 10 OS and select Edge as the external browser, see Enabling Loopback for MS Edge with Windows 10.

Support Information:
Pack AppScan gathers data that can be used by our Support team to troubleshoot problems. You can pack all the current data into a single file for sending to Support.
  • Click Pack to save all the current data as a single file that you send to Support.
  • Optionally select the Encrypt check box to encrypt the file.
