Open AppScan Dynamic Analysis Client

You can open the configuration client from AppScan® Enterprise or from your Desktop.

If you open ADAC from your Desktop, you will be asked to provide the AppScan Enterprise server URL, and sign in, either with your User ID and Password, or using a client-side certificate (with or without a smart card).

To sign in with a User ID and Password:
  1. Select Log in with User ID and Password.
  2. In the URL field, enter the secure URL (HTTPS) of the AppScan Enterprise server.
    Note: If the URL includes a port number, it must be a configurable port.
  3. Enter a valid User ID (with the format [domain name]\[username]) and Password.
  4. Click Login.
    You are logged in.
    Note: If the site's security certificate was not issued by a source that is trusted on your operating system, you are given the option to Continue anyway or abort the connection attempt.
To sign in using a client-side certificate or smart card:
  1. Select Log in using Client-Side Certificate / Smart Card.
  2. In the URL field, enter the secure URL (HTTPS) of the AppScan Enterprise server.
    Note: If the URL includes a port number, it must be a configurable port.
  3. Select the check box for the certificate needed.
  4. Click Login.
    Note: If a Smart Card PIN code is needed to log in, a dialog box opens for you to enter it.
    Note: If the site's security certificate was not issued by a source that is trusted on your operating system, you are given the option to Continue anyway or abort the connection attempt.
    You are logged in.
